Using PractiScore match registration web site with PractiScore apps

Match Documents and Sponsors

Match details, stage descriptions, maps and other documents can all be added to your match on practiscore.com match registration page. Microsoft Office files, PDFs and images are all supported.

As soon as those documents have been added shooters can see them on the match registration page. PractiScore Competitor app will also show them in a near future.

Download the Match to the PractiScore app

After creating the match on practiscore.com you’ll need to download it to the PractiScore app to do the actual scoring. First find the PractiScore pin# for the match in practiscore.com

Then in the PractiScore app on a “Master” device, select Import/Export > Get Match Registration, enter the Pin# and tap Download.

Note: app instructions are all for the iOS version of PractiScore app, they may vary slightly for the Android version:

Accept the changes, then go back to the main screen, select Matches and select the match you just imported.

The PractiScore app for Android will also download stage images/documents and stage descriptions entered on the match registration site and will create stages on the first pin#. It will also parse match description for IPSC, IDPA and ICORE matches and configure stages according to stage description. For example, in an IPSC match, for stage description like this: “10 IPSC Targets, 3 IPSC Poppers, Rounds to be scored – 23, Start position – In area A facing uprange, Procedure – Upon signal, engage targets” it will automatically add 10 paper targets and 3 poppers.

Enable Score Logs (iOS app only yet)

If you enable score logging and scoring is done on iOS tablets with Internet  connection, your shooters can watch the match happen in real time on the score log site and see nearly live results updates in the PractiScore Competitor app. To enable scroll logs in the PractiScore iOS app go to the Matches screen, select the Match, scroll down to Score Logging and select it.

If you get a “Log Initialization Error” it means that score logging has already been enabled for the match.

Note: you will need to Post Results at least once for Score Logging to show on the score logs web site.

Posting Results

If you regularly post the match results to practiscore.com everyone at your match will have a running knowledge of the current rankings.  You can post the current results at any time by selecting View Results > Post to practiscore.com > Post

For the best experience post the results before the match even begins. That way all of the shooters will show up in PractiScore Competitor app and they will be able to follow match updates.
